Wilfredo Manlapaz

Wilfredo Dasco Manlapaz (born April 7, 1941 in Daet , Camarines Norte , Philippines ) is a Filipino clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Tagum .

Life

Wilfredo Manlapaz received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Caceres on December 6, 1964 .

On December 22, 1980 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Tanudaia and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Maasin . The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Bruno Torpigliani , donated him episcopal ordination on February 7, 1981 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Caceres, Teopisto Valderrama Alberto , and the Bishop of Maasin, Vicente Ataviado y Tumalad .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Tagum on January 31, 1986. Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 7, 2018.
