Pedro Rosales Dean (born February 21, 1930 in Calbayog ) is old archbishop of Palo .

Life

Pedro Rosales Dean was ordained a priest on November 30, 1956 . Paul VI appointed him on December 12, 1977 auxiliary bishop in Davao and titular bishop of Thuccabora .

The Archbishop of Cebu Julio Cardinal Rosales y Ras donated him episcopal ordination on January 25 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Antonio Lloren Mabutas , Archbishop of Davao, and Teotimo C. Pacis CM , Bishop of Legazpi .

On July 23, 1980, he was appointed Prelate of Tagum . On October 11, 1980, John Paul II elevated the territorial prelature to a diocese and thus became the first bishop of Tagum. On October 12, 1985, he was appointed Archbishop of Palo . On March 18, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
