Antonio Lloren Mabutas
Antonio Lloren Mabutas (born June 13, 1921 in Agoo , Philippines , † April 22, 1999 ) was Archbishop of Davao .
Life
Antonio L. Mabutas received on 6 April 1946, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 5, 1961, Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the first bishop of Laoag . The Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Salvatore Siino , donated him episcopal ordination on July 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop of Sorsogon , Arnulfo Arcilla , and the auxiliary bishop in Jaro , Juan Nicolasora Nilmar .
On July 25, 1970 Pope Paul VI appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Valeria and ordered him to Koadjutorerzbischof of Davao. Antonio Lloren Mabutas became Archbishop of Davao on December 9, 1972, succeeding the resigned Clovis Joseph Thibauld PME .
On November 6, 1996, Pope John Paul II accepted Antonio Lloren Mabutas' resignation due to reasons of age.
Mabutas attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
