Juan Nicolasora Nilmar , also Juan N. Nilmar (born August 24, 1916 in Miagao , Iloilo Province, Philippines , † October 18, 2007 ) was Bishop of Kalibo in the Philippines.

Life

Juan Nicolasora Nilmar was ordained a priest on June 29, 1942. He was vicar general in Jaro. 1959 he was by Pope John XXIII. Appointed titular bishop of Zapara and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Jaro . The episcopal ordination donated him Archbishop Teofilo Camomot Bastida and Bishop Epifanio Surban Belmonte and Archbishop Antonio José Frondosa . In 1967 Pope Paul VI appointed him . the coadjutor - bishop in the Archdiocese of Davao . In 1970 he was appointed auxiliary bishop in the Diocese of Tagbilaran , and in 1976 he was appointed first bishop of the Diocese of Kalibo . In 1992 his resignation was granted by John Paul II .
