Rafael Montiano Lim (born February 14, 1931 in Boac , Marinduque , Philippines ; † September 10, 1998 ibid) was Bishop of Boac .

Life

After studying Catholic theology and philosophy, Rafael Montiano Lim received the sacrament of priestly ordination for the diocese of Lipa on March 17, 1956 in the San Sebastian Cathedral in Lipa City from the Bishop of Lipa , Alejandro Olalia .

On February 12, 1971, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Laoag . The apostolic nuncio in the Philippines, Archbishop Carmine Rocco , gave him on April 27 of the same year in the Cathedral of St. William the Hermit in Laoag City , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Nueva Segovia , Juan Sison , and the Bishop of Lucena , Alfredo Obviar . On January 26, 1978, Pope Paul VI. Rafael Montiano Lim became the first bishop of Boac.
