Gerardo Eusebio Sueldo

Gerardo Eusebio Sueldo (born August 21, 1936 in Rosario , Santa Fe Province , Argentina , † September 4, 1998 ) was Bishop of Santiago del Estero .

Life

Gerardo Eusebio Sueldo received on 9 July 1961, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 30, 1982, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Orán . The bishop of Catamarca , Alfonso Pedro Torres Farías OP , donated him episcopal ordination on July 3 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Santiago del Estero, Manuel Guirao , and the Apostolic Nuncio in Argentina, Archbishop Manuel Tato .

On May 15, 1993, John Paul II appointed him coadjutor bishop of Santiago del Estero. The inauguration took place on October 31 of the same year. On November 23, 1994 Gerardo Eusebio Sueldo succeeded the resigned Manuel Guirao Bishop of Santiago del Estero.
