José Vittorio Tommasí

José Vittorio Tommasí (born July 30, 1930 in Olavarría , Buenos Aires Province , † September 16, 1998 in Nueve de Julio ) was an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Nueve de Julio .

Life

José Vittorio Tommasi after studying Catholic theology and philosophy received on 20 November 1955, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 19, 1984 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Equizetum and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Bahia Blanca . The Archbishop of Bahía Blanca, Jorge Mayer , donated him episcopal ordination on December 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Azul , Emilio Bianchi di Cárcano , and the Archbishop Emeritus of Salta , Carlos Mariano Pérez Eslava SDB .

On August 28, 1991, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Nueve de Julio. The inauguration took place on October 18 of the same year.
