Martín de Elizalde OSB (born October 23, 1940 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Nueve de Julio .

Life

Martín de Elizalde joined the Congregation of Benedictine in, put the profession on February 11, 1961, received on 9 January 1971, the priestly ordination .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Nueve de Julio on July 6, 1999 . He was ordained bishop by the Archbishop of La Plata , Carlos Walter Galán Barry , on September 14 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Emilio Ogñénovich , Archbishop of Mercedes-Luján , and Estanislao Esteban Karlic , Archbishop of Paraná . The inauguration took place the following day.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on December 1, 2015.
