The Diocese of Laoag ( lat. : Dioecesis Laoagensis ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese based in Laoag . It includes the province of Ilocos Norte .
history
Pope John XXIII founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Novae Segobiae on June 5, 1961 from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
