Miguel Pedro Mundo

Miguel Pedro Mundo (born July 25, 1937 in Staten Island , USA ; † May 18, 1999 in Jataí , Goiás , Brazil ) was Bishop of Jataí .

Life

After studying Catholic theology and philosophy, Miguel Pedro Mundo received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Camden on May 19, 1962 from the Bishop of Camden, Celestine Joseph Damiano .

On March 6, 1978 Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Mercia and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Jataí. The Bishop of Camden, George Henry Guilfoyle , donated to him on June 2 of that year in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Camden , New Jersey , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Jataí, Benedito Domingos Vito Coscia OFM , and the Auxiliary Bishop of Camden, James Louis Schad . On February 24, 1999, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Jataí.
