Oscar Julio Alzamora Revoredo SM (born January 11, 1929 in Lima , Peru ; † May 20, 1999 ibid) was auxiliary bishop in Lima .

Life

Oscar Julio Alzamora Revoredo joined the religious order of the Marist Fathers . After studying Catholic theology and philosophy , he received the sacrament of ordination on March 29, 1963 .

On December 16, 1982 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishop of Tacna . The Archbishop of Lima, Juan Cardinal Landázuri Ricketts, OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on March 25, 1983 ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Arequipa , Fernando Vargas Ruiz de Somocurcio SJ , and the Archbishop of Piura , Oscar Rolando Cantuarias pastor .

On February 13, 1991, Oscar Julio Alzamora Revoredo resigned as Bishop of Tacna y Moquegua. At the same time John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Lima.
