Héctor Gabino Romero

Héctor Gabino Romero (born August 4, 1924 in Bahía Blanca , Province of Buenos Aires , Argentina , † May 22, 1999 in Rafaela , Province of Santa Fe ) was Bishop of Rafaela .

Life

After studying Catholic theology and philosophy, Héctor Gabino Romero received the sacrament of ordination on December 20, 1947 from the Archbishop of Bahía Blanca , Germiniano Esorto .

On May 26, 1978 Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Tagarata and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Lomas de Zamora . The bishop of Lomas de Zamora, Desiderio Elso Collino , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Viedma , Miguel Hesayne , and the Auxiliary Bishop of San Justo , Rodolfo Bufano .

On January 7, 1984, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Rafaela. The inauguration took place on March 25 of the same year.
