Palo is a Filipino municipality in the province of Leyte on the island of Leyte . It has 70,052 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 33 barangays . Its neighboring communities are Pastrana in the west, Tacloban City in the north, and Santa Fe in the northwest and Tanauan in the south.
