Albuera is a Filipino municipality in the province of Leyte on the island of Leyte . It has 46,332 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 16 barangays . The community is described as partially urban and belongs to the third income bracket of the communities in the Philippines. Its neighboring communities are Ormoc City in the north, Baybay City in the south and Burauen in the east. To the west of the municipality is the Camotes Sea .
