Her debut album, named after her, rose to number 10 in the album charts, stayed in the charts for months and then rose to number 1 in early 2006 . In the following years Laleh was able to establish herself as a top Swedish artist, especially with her albums.
In January 2012 her second number one album Sjung was released with the single Some Die Young . The song was also discovered in neighboring Norway and used as background music for reporting on the Breivik trial, which dealt with the many young people who died in the 2011 attacks in Norway . The song rose to the top of the chart in Norway and was her third top ten hit in Sweden. A year later it was also released in Germany and hit the charts there in September.
