The St. Lambertus Chapel is a Roman Catholic chapel in Treuchtlingen in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen . The chapel is the oldest church in Treuchtlingen and was the main church in Treuchtlingen until the Treuchtlingen line died out. The church has the address Heinrich-Aurnhammer-Straße 2.

The first St. Lambertus Church dates from the 9th or 10th century, was the parish church of Treuchtlingen in the 13th century and remained so until 1934. However, the church burned down completely in 1495; the subsequent building was destroyed in the Thirty Years War . In 1405 the church came to Rebdorf Monastery , which it owned until 1806. Today's church building is a baroque- style new building from 1733/1734 based on plans by Anton Brunthaler and Leinhart. From 1967 to 1973 and 1990 renovations were carried out which brought about a restoration of the baroque condition. The church tower is crowned by a dome .

The main altar of the chapel is in the semicircle of the choir. The nave and the chancel have an ornate flat ceiling . The altarpiece with the Lambert von Lüttich dates from 1822 and is located below the Holy Family painting. In the church there are several epitaphs of the Pappenheim hereditary marshals , including tombstones and stones by Hans Georg von Pappenheim († 1568), Veit zu Pappenheim († 1600) and by his wife Regina († 1592).
