Lambia ( Greek Λάμπεια ( f. Sg. )) Is a municipality in the municipality of Archea Olymbia in the region of western Greece . It emerged from the municipality of the same name as part of the 2010 administrative reform .

location

With 72.447 km² Lambia is the smallest area of the municipality of Archea Olymbia. It is located in the northeast of the municipality. The municipality of Kalavryta borders to the northeast , and the Erymanthos forms the border to the municipality of Gortynia in the Peloponnese region to the southeast . Neighboring parishes are Lasiona in the northwest and Foloi in the south.

Administrative division

With the territorial reform in 1997 , the three rural communities Lambia , Astras and Orini merged to form the municipality of Lambia with the mountain village of Lambia as the administrative center. Since the administrative reform in 2010 , this municipality has formed one of four municipal districts in the municipality of Archea Olymbia . The municipality of Lambia is divided into three local communities, which correspond to the former rural communities.
