Land book of Stammbach

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Landbuch von Stammbach is a late medieval register of properties in the immediate vicinity of Stammbach . It is located in the Bamberg State Archives .

The "Landbuch uber Stanbach" is a description from the end of the 15th century and was probably written around 1535. Karl Walter from Eckersdorf transcribed the book in 1997 and annotated it.

In the period around 1500 several margravial land books were created in the region , including the land book of the six offices and the land book of Hof . They were created during the time of Brandenburg-Kulmbach Margrave Friedrich II , who appointed bailiffs in his administrative structures .

The land book gives precise insights into legal relationships and names owners of houses and farms and their feudal relationships. Stammbach shows the influence of the Himmelkron monastery , that of Waldenfels , that of Wallenrode , the Rabensteiner of Wirsberg and that of Reitzenstein . The place had seven hut meadows , which could be used as common land (more precisely: Peunt), as well as the drive ways . In addition to Stammbach, the land register provides information about the places Fleisnitz , Tennersreuth and Lösten . Several details refer to the deserted Goppelsdorf near the Senftenhof .

Several Ott families and a Mulnner family lived in Fleisnitz. The influence of von Sparneck and Wallenrode has been handed down from the middle of the 15th century ; Friedrich von Sparneck , his brother Rüdiger and Hans at Stein Castle were among the Sieglers . This is also confirmed by two extensive deeds of lending to King Sigismund from 1417 and 1437 with the root area for Rüdiger and in 1437 also for his brother Friedrich von Sparneck, which also name shares in Fleisnitz.
