Senftenhof is a district of the Stammbach market in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

The hamlet is located in the open about two kilometers east of Stammbach. It consists of two properties on a road connecting the district road HO 21 through Horlachen and the district road HO 20 , which branches off at Metzlesdorf . The Bamberg – Hof railway line passes a hundred meters to the east .

In terms of settlement history, Senftenhof is associated with the nearby, disappeared Goppelsdorf or Göppelsdorf. In the literature, the two places are sometimes equated, sometimes called separately. Even before the municipal reform of the 1970s, Senftenhof belonged to Stammbach, until 1972 in the former Münchberg district .

In the topographical-statistical manual of the Kingdom of Bavaria from 1868, the Senftenhof is recorded with four buildings and 14 residents. Ernst speaks of two houses with two families and 13 “souls”.
