Gundlitz is a district of the Stammbach market in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

The village is located on the district road HO 22 at the transition to the district road KU 1 between Cottenau and Stammbach. Connecting roads lead to Steinbach , Ziegenburg and Herrnschrot .

From 1812 to 1879 the place belonged to the district court of Münchberg and from 1879 to 1973 to the district court of Münchberg . Gundlitz was an independent municipality with the districts Herrnschrot , Hohenbuchen and Winklas and until 1972 part of the district of Münchberg . In 1978 it was incorporated into Stammbach as part of the municipal reform.

A small house with a gable roof and half-timbering is under monument protection . In the center of the village there is a village pond, the fire station, a monument to the land clearance and a memorial to the fallen of war. The Catholic chapel was previously used for Catholic and Protestant services. The Kellergasse is the stage destination of the Franconian Stone Kingdom quality hiking trail .
