Oelschnitz is a district of the Stammbach market in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .
The village is connected to the neighboring town of Querenbach via a road in the direction of Stammbach . At the entrance to the town it joins the district road HO 21 .
Architectural monuments are a stable house with a tailcoat roof from around 1800 and a former mill with a preserved mill.
The story of Oelschnitz begins as one of the seven free villages . Until 1972 the place was part of the municipality of Straas in the district of Münchberg .
