Straas is a district of the city of Münchberg in the Upper Franconian district of Hof .

The village is on State Road 2194 between Münchberg and the slip road to Autobahn 9 . Connecting roads lead over the Hintere Höhe to Münchberg and into the neighboring towns of Mussen , Biengarten , Plösen and as an extension of the state road as district road HO 21 to Stammbach .

Incorporation into the Münchberg urban area

Until 1972 Straas was a separate municipality in the Münchberg district together with the places Biengarten, Plösen, Solg, Schödlas, Querenbach and Oelschnitz . The municipal coat of arms was divided by silver and black; above a red rafter, below three golden hammers, the stems of which collided below.

The architectural monuments include two residential stable houses and one residential building with a gable roof and half-timbered gables .
