Finals of the German team championship in chess 1963

The final round of the German team championship in chess in 1963 took place from December 6th to 9th, 1963 in Heidelberg .

There were Heidelberg in 1879 , the Munich chess club from 1836 , the chess club Palamedes Hamburg and the two-time German champions SG 1925 Dusseldorf in the final of the 17th West German team championship at. A round-robin tournament was held. The six-time Baden team champion Heidelberg 1879 had for the first time managed to qualify for a German final.
