The final round of the German Chess Team Championship in 1959 took place from December 4 to 6, 1959 in the East Westphalian city of Minden in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The Berlin Chess Society 1827 Eckbauer eV , the Hannoverscher Chess Club von 1876 eV , the Munich Chess Club from 1836 and the chess department of the Police Sports Club Wuppertal eV competed in the final of the 13th West German Team Championship in 1959 in Minden. A round-robin tournament was held. Willi Fohl was the tournament director.
