Final round of the German team championship in chess in 1948
The final round of the German Chess Team Championship in 1948 took place in Sarstedt from October 26th to 30th .
The Bielefelder Chess Club , Darmstadt-Eberstadt , the Essen SG 1904 , SV Hamburg-Altona 1912 and the Free Chess Association Hanover fought for the German team championship in 1948. The planned appearance of a Berlin , Leipzig and Augsburg team failed for different reasons.
