The final round of the German team championship in chess in 1971 took place in Hanover . The Hannoversche Schachklub , Königsspringer Frankfurt , the Schachgesellschaft Solingen and SG Porz , the winners of four qualifying tournaments for the German team championship, were eligible to participate .
