The first state law gazette for Burgenland

The state law gazette for Burgenland is a law gazette published by the Burgenland state government . It publishes the state laws, ordinances of the state government and the governor as an organ of indirect federal administration , rulings of the constitutional court on the repeal of state laws and state treaties (including agreements pursuant to Art. 15a B-VG ). The legal basis is Art. 34 et seq. of the Land Constitutional Law and Bgld. Announcement Act 2015.

The first Provincial Law Gazette for Burgenland was issued on July 15, 1922. Burgenland was previously part of the Kingdom of Hungary as German West Hungary (administratively divided into three counties ) and its laws therefore also applied to Burgenland. The establishment of Burgenland as the country of the Republic of Austria was regulated by a federal constitutional law of January 1921.

Up until the end of 2014, the state law gazettes were printed by private printers on behalf of the Burgenland state government, and since January 1, 2015 - like the Federal Law Gazette - they have been published in the legal information system of the Federal Chancellery .

In the library for historical legal and legal texts ALEX of the Austrian National Library , older legal gazettes can also be viewed.
