State Criminal Police Office (Austria)

The state criminal investigation offices in Austria are federal police institutions that are set up at state level . The State Criminal Police Offices are organizational units of the State Police Directorates and are fundamentally responsible for processing serious crime or supra-regional crime; but also in the coordination of all criminal services in a federal state. They are responsible for criminal investigation activities and analyzes, coordination and information and consist of investigation and assistance areas.
