State press conference
A state press conference (LPK) is a working group of full-time journalists who regularly report on state politics in a state . The group is more often active as a registered association and is set up in every German federal state. The state press conferences take place regularly as press conferences at a specified location.
The purpose of the working groups is to improve the general conditions for journalists and to facilitate contacts with decision-makers and press spokesmen, i.e. the exchange of information.
In addition to journalistic activities, the working groups can also organize events such as B. be press balls or award ceremonies.
