District Court Hof
The Hof District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction . It is one of 22 regional courts in the Free State of Bavaria .
history
The Hof District Court was created as a newer type of district court under the Courts Constitution Act of 1879. The precursor was the Hof District Court , founded in 1857 .

Superordinate and subordinate courts
The Hof Regional Court is one of the seven regional courts to which the Bamberg Higher Regional Court is superordinate; subordinate are the local courts in Hof and Wunsiedel .

The striking high-rise was demolished in 2014. A new building has been completed, another is to follow. The building is known colloquially by the people of Hof as the “Palace of Justice”.
