The Riva Regional Court was a Bavarian regional court of the older order that existed from 1805 to 1810 and was based in Riva del Garda in Trentino . The regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities in the Kingdom of Bavaria .

history

In 1805, after the Peace of Pressburg, the Riva Regional Court was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . After the establishment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, this was added to the Etschkreis , whose capital was Trento .

Peter Adolph Winkopp wrote in 1807: “The Riva regional court contains the princely courts of Tenno , Val di Ledro , Stenico and the praetur Riva; then the County Arco courts Penede, Arco and Drena . The area is 8 41/50 square miles with a population of 23,178 souls, of which 16,199 are regional courts. "

In 1810 the Adige district was ceded to the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy .
