District Court of Rovereto
The district court of Rovereto was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1805 to 1810 and was based in Rovereto in Trentino . The regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities in the Kingdom of Bavaria .
history
In 1805, after the Peace of Pressburg, the district court of Rovereto was established in the course of the administrative reorganization of Bavaria . After the establishment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, this was added to the Etschkreis , whose capital was Trento .
Peter Adolph Winkopp wrote in 1807: “The district court of Roveredo contains the immediately sovereign courts of Folgaria and Castel Corno, the Count Trappian court of Pesens, the Krescer castle of Pietra, the city court of Roveredo together with the praetur, the Fedrigazic court of Nomi , the Count of Lodronian court Castellano and Castelnovo, the Castelbarocoic court Gresto, and the four vicariates of Brentonico , Mori , Ala and Avio , which were given as fiefs . It has an area of 9 4/5 square miles with a population of 43,721 souls, of which only 3,945 are regional court. "
In 1810 the Adige district was ceded to the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy .
