Laniia

Laniia (* 1997 in Küllstedt , civil: Tanja Lerch ) is a German singer . She gained fame through her participation in the songs Glad You Came and Stars of the German music project Vize , which were able to place in the German single charts .

biography

After graduating from the St. Josef-Gymnasium in Dingelstädt in 2016 , Laniia began studying teaching at the Humboldt University in Berlin .

As a 16-year-old, the singer applied for the talent show The Voice , but was eliminated in the preliminary round. In 2017 she was discovered while auditioning by Vitali Zestovskih , who signed her. For his music project Vize Laniia recorded the vocals for the debut single Glad You Came , but was not named as a participating artist. It was only with the second single, Stars , that the singer was specified as a featuring . Both songs hit the German and Austrian single charts .
