Lara Abdallat

Lara Abdallat (* 1981 or 1982 ) is a Jordanian former beauty queen and hacktivist .

Life

Abdallat was crowned Miss Jordan in 2010 and finished third in the Miss Arab World in 2011 .

After the murder of the Jordanian fighter pilot Muath al-Kasaesbeh in January 2015 by the terrorist militia " Islamic State (IS) ", Lara Abdallat joined the hacker groups "CtrlSec" and "Ghost Security Group" in the vicinity of Anonymous . According to Die Welt, Abdallat is said to have been involved in identifying suspected IS attackers in Tunisia in the summer of 2015 with “CtrlSec” . At about the same time, her hacker identity was revealed.

"GhostSec" (GSG) attacks IS on the Internet in a targeted manner and, according to its own statements, is responsible for the blocking or deletion of more than 55,000 Twitter accounts, over 100 websites and over 1,000 propaganda videos.

Lara Abdallat is the only member of "Ghost Security" whose identity is publicly known. In the GhostSec group, she wants to cooperate more closely with governments against IS.
