Larry Fong

Lawrence Arthur Fong (born July 19, 1960 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American cinematographer .

Life

Fong graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles . It was actually his intention to complete the film program there, but he was removed from his studies, which is why he graduated in linguistics . He later attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His first work as a cameraman was music videos and television commercials.

In 1992 he worked with Prince , among others , and was the cameraman for his music video of Money Don't Matter 2 Night from the album Diamonds and Pearls . In the same year, Fong was involved in several episodes of Foxy Fantasies . Several other film and television productions followed from the end of the 1990s. But it was only with his involvement in the television series Lost in 2004/2005 that his activities took off. In 2006, Fong worked on the film 300 . Since then he has been closely associated with director Zack Snyder as a cameraman .
