action
Jurassic Park
The multi-billionaire John Hammond has created his own adventure park on Isla Nublar, including dinosaurs living through genetic engineering. However, when an accident occurs, investors demand a review of the park, and a group of scientists is invited. While they are driving through the park in jeeps, an employee turns off the power to get dinosaur embryos that he wants to sell to a competing company. However, the dinosaurs also break out of their enclosures and attack the scientists driving through the park, who now have to fear for their survival. In the end, they manage to switch the electricity back on in the park with great losses and escape from the island by helicopter.
Forgotten World: Jurassic Park
Four years after the events on Isla Nublar, some surviving dinosaurs have spread to Isla Sorna, the former breeding and production facility, and live there without external influences. For this reason, John Hammond plans to set up a group around Dr. To send Ian Malcolm, who almost died in the previous accident, to the island and document the natural life of the dinosaurs there. At the same time, Hammond's nephew, Peter Ludlow, plans to move the animals to a new Jurassic Park in San Diego. On the island, the group around Malcolm meets hunters under the leadership of Ludlow, with whom they have to team up a short time later, as both groups are attacked by the animals living there. While Malcolm and his allies are rescued by a helicopter, Ludlow ships a captured Tyrannosaurus Rex to San Diego. There the animal can free itself, but is caught again by Malcolm and then brought back to Isla Sorna.
Jurassic Park III
Dr. Alan Grant, who was once on Isla Nublar, is enlisted by a married couple to accompany them as a guide on Isla Sorna. After the plane is attacked by a Spinosaurus shortly after landing and then crashes in the jungle, it turns out that the couple are looking for their missing son on the island. After Grant was able to convince the couple to go back to the coast, since their son is believed to be dead, the group is attacked by dinosaurs and separated. Grant comes across the missing boy. After the group is reunited, they try to get to the coast together, but are repeatedly attacked by the Spinosaurus and some raptors as Dr. Grant, Billy, stole eggs from the raptors. After they reached the coast and drove away the Spinosaurus and returned their eggs to the raptors, the US Navy rescued them after they had previously called for help with a satellite phone.
Jurassic World
Two decades after the “Jurassic Park” was closed, the new adventure park “Jurassic World” is located on Isla Nublar. The park's manager, Claire Dearing, presents the owner, Simon Masrani, the newest attraction, the “Indominus Rex”, which is a cross between numerous dinosaurs. This made him so intelligent that he managed to outsmart the guards and break out of his enclosure. Masrani then orders the evacuation of the park, whereupon all visitors come to the main area. Vic Hoskins, the head of security, orders Owen Grady, a velociraptor trainer, to use his animals to hunt the Indominus Rex. This has previously destroyed the pterosaur enclosure, which is why the visitors in the main area are now being attacked and chaos breaks out. Claire frees a Tyrannosaurus Rex who, along with the raptors of Grady and a Mosasaurus, can defeat the Indominus Rex.
Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom
After the surviving dinosaurs on Isla Nublar were able to develop freely again, a volcano threatens to erupt and wipe out the fauna there. John Lockwood, a former partner of John Hammond, approaches Claire Dearing, who is to lead an expedition to the island, with the animals to be resettled on a new island. Claire in turn recruits Owen Grady, who is supposed to find the last surviving raptor. Grady is able to track down the raptor on the island, but it is brutally captured. It turns out that the animals are actually supposed to be auctioned off to international arms dealers by Eli Mills, a business partner of Lockwood. It also emerges that Lockwood's granddaughter is a clone of his daughter, who died young. Owen and Claire manage to end the auction due to a released dinosaur. However, when escaping hydrogen cyanide threatens other trapped animals, Lockwood's granddaughter releases the animals into the world.
Battle at Big Rock (short film)
A family camps in fictional Big Rock National Park in northern California. During dinner together, they watch a Nasutoceratops and its cub looking for food through the window of the trailer . Suddenly an allosaurus appears, injures the young animal and drives it and its mother away. When he hears the screams of the family's baby, he also attacks the caravan. Both parents try to protect their three children from the dinosaur, and ultimately the daughter manages to drive the animal away with a crossbow. During the credits, several recordings are shown that document encounters between dinosaurs and humans: several Compsognathus chase a small, frightened girl; a stegosaurus obstructs traffic on a mountain road; Anglers watch a Parasaurolophus drink from a river; a mosasaurus eats a shark in the sea and several pteranodons eat the pigeons released at a wedding.
