Hans Teuscher
Hans Teuscher (born April 10, 1937 in Dresden , † October 31, 2015 in Berlin ) was a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker .
Life
Hans Teuscher was the offspring of a widespread family of actors. His parents, grandparents, and an uncle and great-uncle were also actors. In the turmoil of the post-war period he came to the Allgäu , where he lived for a few years and also played theater for the first time.
He completed his training at the Leipzig Theater School . He then made a theater career as a member of the ensemble in Berlin at the Volksbühne and the Deutsches Theater as well as at the Dresden State Theater . In addition, he soon became one of the most prominent and well-known television and cinema actors in the GDR, where he was involved in over 30 productions between 1978 and 1988.
In 1988 he moved to West Berlin . Here he soon had engagements at the Staatliche Schauspielbühnen Berlin , the Renaissance Theater and the Theater des Westens and also made guest appearances in Basel , Zurich , Dresden , Essen and Hamburg . He soon became a well-known performer on television too.
Until December 2014, Teuscher hosted the MDR program “ Abschied ist ein quiet word” .
Hans Teuscher died on October 31, 2015 at the age of 78 from cancer in Berlin and was buried on November 12, 2015 in the cemetery of the Dorotheenstädtische and Friedrichswerder parishes in Berlin's Chausseestrasse.
