Robert Dalva
Robert Dalva (born April 14, 1942 in New York City ) is an American film editor who works occasionally as a cameraman and film director .
Dalva made his editor debut in 1969 with the film Lions Love , directed by Agnès Varda . In 1979 he was involved in The Black Stallion and was nominated for an Oscar for it. Two years later he staged the sequel to this film with The Black Stallion Returns and made his debut as a director. In the 1990s Dalva worked occasionally as a cameraman, including for the series Nash Bridges . He had his first experiences as a cameraman in 1977 with the film Star Wars , where he worked as a second-unit cameraman.
