Lars Holster (born November 19, 1972 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Professional and private

After graduating from high school in Wendenstrasse in 1996, Holster first completed an apprenticeship as an insurance salesman . He then completed a teaching degree in economics and German at the University of Hamburg . Until 2015, Holster was vice principal of the Süderelbe district school .

Political career

Holster represents the Vier- und Marschlande in the district executive committee of the SPD Bergedorf. He is mainly involved in the areas of school policy and youth welfare, where he was a member of the youth welfare committee in the Bergedorf district assembly during the last legislative period.

In the state elections in Hamburg in 2011 , he ran for the SPD in the Bergedorf constituency . He received 2.6 percent of the vote and made it into parliament via the state list position 29. Since March 7, 2011 he was a member of the Hamburg citizenship and since then the school policy spokesman for his party. There were also memberships in the "Science and Research" and "Environment" committees. In the 2015 state election, Holster ran for 60th place on the state list, but did not win a mandate.
