Lassi Huuskonen (born November 2, 1979 ) is a former Finnish ski jumper .

Career

Huuskonen, who competes for the Puijon Hiihtoseura club, played his first international jumping at the 1997 Junior World Championships in Canmore, where he won the silver medal in the team competition with Matti Hautamäki , Jussi Hautamäki and Lauri Hakola .

He completed his first jumping in the World Cup on November 24, 2000 in Kuopio . With a 15th place he was able to win his first World Cup points in this jumping. However, after he was only 66th on the same hill a week later, he started in the Continental Cup the following season . In the first competition of this series he was third in Kuusamo . After two competitions in the Continental Cup, he was taken back into the World Cup squad, but was again unable to assert himself there. Although he managed to jump into the points again in Kuopio. However, it was the last World Cup points of his career. He finished the 2001/02 World Cup season in 62nd place overall. Until 2004 Huuskonen jumped in the Continental Cup. However, he could no longer achieve one of the top places. After the Winter Universiade in January 2005, Huuskonen therefore ended his active ski jumping career.
