The Lassingbach ( Lassing for short ) is an almost 15 kilometer long right tributary of the Erlauf in the Türnitz Alps in Lower Austria . It rises south of Annaberg in the Erzgraben at the north foot of the Großer Sulzberg and flows into the Erlauf in the area of the Ötschergraben at Stierwaschboden. In the course of the construction of the Wienerbruck power plant (1908), the Lassing near Wienerbruck , Annaberg municipality, was dammed and diverted via a pressure tunnel with a height difference of around 170 meters to the confluence with the Erlauf, which is why the amount of water at the waterfall has been rather low since then.

Lassingfall

The Lassingfall ( 47 ° 51 '6 "  N , 15 ° 17' 37"  O ) is located in the Lassinggraben between Wienerbruck ( 790  m above sea level. A. ) and the bull washing floor ( 622  m ) and has a drop height of approximately 90 meters. It can be reached via a path that leads through the entire gorge and, among other things, crosses several rock gates.
