Laura Gauché (born March 4, 1995 in Moûtiers ) is a French ski racer . She specializes in the downhill and Super-G disciplines.
biography
Gauché completed an FIS race for the first time in March 2011 ; in Megève's Super-G she finished 49th. She made her debut in the European Cup in February 2012 when she was 48th in Jasná's Super-G . Gauché collected her first European Cup points as 19th on the downhill run from St. Moritz in December of the same year. In January 2014, she finally made her World Cup debut on the Altenmarkt-Zauchensee downhill run . In February 2016 she was able to achieve her first podium in the European Cup; In the Super-G of Davos she was second. Gauché got her first World Cup points in January 2017 in the Super-G of Garmisch-Partenkirchen , where she was 26th. The following month she was in Crans-Montana for the first time in the combined World Cup in the points.
