Laura Hoffmann (born August 12, 1991 in Meschede ) is a German soccer player .

Career

societies

Hoffmann started playing soccer in the youth team of her home club SSV Meschede and later moved to the youth department of SG Wattenscheid 09 . On March 24, 2008, at the age of 16, she played her first Bundesliga game when she came on for Jennifer Manzer in the 68th minute of the Wattenscheiderinnen's 1-0 away win against VfL Wolfsburg . After Wattenscheid's relegation, she was mainly a substitute in the second division in the following season and was a regular player in the first ten games of the 2009/10 season. At the beginning, however, the defense specialist then moved to the Bundesliga club SG Essen-Schönebeck , where she signed a contract until June 30, 2011. On February 20, 2010, she played her first league game for Essen in a 2-2 home game against FCR 2001 Duisburg and was immediately on the field for the entire season. After five further premier league appearances until April 2010, he was used exclusively for Essen's second substitute in the 2010/11 season and finally moved to VfL Bochum in the regional league in summer 2011 . With the Bochum women she won the undisputed championship in the Regionalliga West in 2012/13 and the associated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. Due to a torn cruciate ligament in 2012, however , she was only used one time this season. In April 2015, she announced her move to league competitor FSV Gütersloh 2009 for the 2015/16 season, where she signed a one-year contract. After a year and a half of abstinence, Hoffmann returns to VfL Bochum .

National team

Via the Westphalian selection, Hoffmann got into the squad of the U-15 national team , for which she played two games in 2006, and a year later she also made two appearances for the U-17 national team .
