Horror of all spies (original title: Air Raid Wardens ; also known as Bombenkerle ) is an American comedy film directed by Edward Sedgwick with the comedian duo Laurel and Hardy in the lead roles.

The United States in World War II : After Stan and Ollie fail to make a living as shopkeepers, they join the army. However, they are unsuccessful in this too and have to return to their hometown. You work here at the air raid station and by chance come across a German Nazi spy ring in your city.

The film service wrote with little conviction that the comedians in this “grotesque comedy” would completely serve the patriotic home front: “The humor often seems quite forced, and only in a few scenes amuse the comedians with their absurd ideas . "
