Nella Walker (born March 6, 1886 in Chicago , Illinois , † March 22, 1971 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .

Life

Nella Walker started her acting career in her youth. She toured the country with her future husband Wilbur Mack as Mack & Walker with a vaudeville show. She signed with RKO Pictures and made her debut in 1929 as a contract actress with Seven Keys to Baldpate , Tanned Legs and The Vagabond Lover in three films . The silver-haired, aristocratic-looking actress was quickly assigned the type of arrogant upper-class lady. She played characters designed in this way as a supporting actress in films such as Nur der Name nach (1939), Fräulein Kitty (1940) and Sabrina (1954). After portraying Maude Larrabee in Billy Wilder's comedy Sabrina , she ended her acting career.
