The Lauser Weiher is a natural, boggy bathing lake in the Rosenheim district .
It is located in the municipality of Feldkirchen-Westerham in the Unterlaus district and is about one kilometer south of the municipality and district border on the edge of the Kupferbachtal nature reserve .
The lake is surrounded by wooded hills, which is why it is already in the shade in the late afternoon. The fish stocks in the lake, which is leased to the Bad Aibling district fishing association , show a wide variety of species: white fish , pike , pikeperch , carp , tench and increasingly also catfish .
In 2002 the Lauser Weiher overflowed its banks due to torrent-like water masses that flowed from the neighboring slopes and flooded large parts of Unterlaus.
