Lauterbach is a church village and part of the municipality of Heldenstein in the Upper Bavarian district of Mühldorf am Inn .

history

The Catholic branch church of St. Georg in Lauterbach is a baroque, late Gothic hall building with a retracted polygonal choir and west tower. It was built in 1521, increased by 1602 and redesigned in Baroque style in 1682. Expansions took place in the 18th and 19th centuries. On January 1, 1970, the Lauterbach community , founded in 1818 by the Bavarian community edict, was incorporated into Heldenstein.
