from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Administrative division of Cape Town with 24 sub-councils

The list of the Sub-Council of Cape Town includes the Sub-Council of the South African Metropolitan Municipality Cape Town ( City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality ) and their Wards . Each sub-council consists of three to six wards, which represent the smallest urban administrative unit. Cape Town is currently (early 2017) divided into 116 such parts.

The wards are divided up again and again and put together to form the sub-councils - the next largest structural unit. The aim is for the wards to include between 14,000 and 19,000 registered voters, the population is around two to four times as large.
