Lawrence Adolf Aidoo (born January 14, 1982 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player .
Career
Before Aidoo moved to Germany, he played for Sekondi Hasaacas and the King Faisal Babes in Ghana .
In October 1999 Aidoo moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach , where he was only used with the amateurs. Aidoo was soon one of the top performers among the amateurs and was brought up to the professionals. The striker scored his first goal for Borussia in the second division season 2000/01 against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen (1-0) and quickly became a regular player until he tore the cruciate ligament in early 2001. After recovering from an injury and Borussia's rise in 2001, he played again for Borussia, which now played in the Bundesliga .
In early 2003 Aidoo made his first international match for Ghana in Tunis against Tunisia .
During the winter break of the 2003/04 season, Aidoo moved on loan to 1. FC Nürnberg , where he could not really gain a foothold. Aidoo moved permanently to Energie Cottbus for the 2005/06 season, and in 2007 his contract was terminated there.
On January 31, 2008 Aidoo was signed by the regional league team FSV Frankfurt . The contract between Aidoo and the FSV was initially valid until June 30, 2008 and was very performance-related. For the period after that, the club had a unilateral option to extend the contract for another year. This option was not taken by the FSV, so Aidoo was invited to a test training by the Kickers Emden . The Emder decided to submit a one-year contract to Aidoo, which he also signed and was used more and more frequently over the course of the season. After Emden withdrew voluntarily into the league after the 2008/09 season for licensing reasons, Aidoo left the club.
From March 2010 he played in the Middle Rhine League at FC Wegberg-Beeck , with whom he celebrated promotion to the NRW League . But in the summer break of 2010, on July 19, Wegberg-Beeck announced the separation from Aidoo: Because the player had extended his vacation without authorization, he received the notice.
In November 2010 Aidoo joined the Lower Rhine division 1. FC Viersen , where he spent a year and a half. After his engagement in Viersen, he withdrew from football for the time being and didn't play for a club for a year and a half. In January 2014, the regional division Rheydter SV signed him . With the club he rose at the end of the season in the district league and a year later in the district league.
