Lawrence Sabatini
Lawrence Sabatini CS (born May 15, 1930 in Chicago , USA ) is Bishop Emeritus of Kamloops .
Life
Lawrence Sabatini joined the Congregation of Scalabrini in and received on 19 March 1957, the priestly ordination .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on July 15, 1978 titular bishop of Nasai and auxiliary bishop in Vancouver . He received his episcopal ordination from the Archbishop of Vancouver , James Francis Carney , on September 21 of the same year; Co- consecrators were John Fergus O'Grady OMI , Bishop of Prince George , and Remi Joseph De Roo , Bishop of Victoria .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kamloops on September 30, 1982 and accepted his resignation on September 2, 1999.
